Valerie, who knew she wanted to be a vet from a very early age, started studying at the University of Louvain in Belgium in 1979. She received her doctorate from the University of Liege (Cureghem) in 1986 and left to practice in the UK for 6 years during which time she specialised in X Ray and Ultrasonic techniques. She came to Chamonix in 1992. Fluent in French and English she has created a complete infrastructure to care for your pet.

Since her childhood, Fanny has been passionate about horses and all feathered and scaled animals (NAC)! Dr. Fanny Berchtold graduated from the USAMV Cluj-Napoca in Romania. She worked for several years at the Saint-Martin en Bellevue Hospital before deciding to join our team for our greatest pleasure. Passionate about internal medicine and NAC, Fanny will welcome you with great kindness.

Born in the Chamonix valley, she worked for 15 years in the local tourist office and subsequently in Picardy and Annecy. She discovered her vocation thanks to her love of animals, in particular cats. 17 years have gone by in a flash as she reflects on how lucky she is to work in the most fulfilling profession in the world. Ghislaine will welcome and advise you with the highest standard of professionalism which is her defining characteristic.

During the summer months, you have already met Gianni Soro, a veterinary student who has joined our team.
Gianni is very involved in the LPO (League for the Protection of Birds) and has acquired very good knowledge in the rescue of birds and small wild mammals. He is passionate about his future job, his dynamism and his youth are major assets for our structure. Very attentive to our customers, he will be able to guide you in your expectations on the phone or at the reception.
